                                      Had a look at Flightgear and there is a combat mod available, as its an addon and not part of the main code it does not annoy those not needing combat capabilities.&lt;br /&gt;

                                      Yeah some little GE's. The original engines had an almost 1:1 power to weight ratio, with very low TBO and very high susceptibility to compressor stall. The GE's have  approx 6:1 power to weight ratio, are probably something like 5000hrs TBO for the hot section and on condition for the gas generator. Just a slight improvement there.</description>

The way SDOE does hit detection on if you can shoot your own plane or not is how far away the objects are you are shooting. If they are far enough away you can register hits on yourself. If the objects are still considered close, the bullets pass right through. There is no way to make every piece detect a hit if you decide to shoot yourself. This is a hard-coded limitation.</description>

                                      I love these old forts. I've never been to Tilbury, but Dover's cool, and my favourite is Nothe Fort down in Weymouth.</description>
