Where can the FS-WW1 Plane Pack 5 be downloaded successfully?
I've made two attempts at 2hr 45mins. each time (from Filefront) only to find the download incomplete viz. missing the means to install. All I have is one large file of 555mb. without the App. Sad

Hello!

Something does not sound right if File Front is timing out on you. I assume you are meaning the All In One EXE?

If you are using a download accelerator, do not. I don't think File Front likes those from my experience.

Try this link for mirrors: http://www.moddb.com/downloads/start/14815/all

Hello Argon,

Thanks for the quick response to my plight. No it's the basic FS-WW1 Plane Pack 5 I'm after plus the v 1.0 patch. My boardband speed is pretty poor and I didn't think I could manage the All-in-one.
The d/ls produced just one large file, one for the plane pack and one for the patch, but both were without the Apps. to install. I did d/l from ModDB,
but maybe should have tried one of the mirror sites second time around.

I suppose there's no way to use these files I have now?

Funny thing is I did try again at WW1 Air Combat.com and this time all I got was starting App. (cross and roundel icon) and nothing else. Weird. Confused

Ah, if you are downloading the individaual files you need the original SDOE CD. Do you have that? If so, follow these steps in order under Install Option 1 here: http://www.fsww1.com/

The 555mb EXE file you can keep, it sounds good.
