|
|
Hey!
After so many years I re-insrtalled SDOE WWI
Can't wait to fully enjoy the game. I do not remember all tricks, so I got my Joystick working, but the throttle slider is "upside down".
Is there any entry I can make to turn it around? Flying is okay, but it feels a bit strange... _________________ Everybody has a signature, but me. |

Hello and welcome back!
A "Getting the Best" tweak guide is here: http://www.fsww1.com/documentation/Tweaks.html
It's a bit old, but much of it still applies... For swapping the joystick axis, I usually use the joystick's program for that. _________________ 'Go Fly A Kite!'

Thank you, mate!
Yes, I really feel that I lost much of knowledge about SDOE.
Fun fact: After a new boot the Joystick worked perfrcty. Whatever the reason was, maybe a wrong calibration or something.
But your link is still helpful for all the other things. _________________ Everybody has a signature, but me. |

Glad to hear it’s working!
I have the sdemons.ini reference guide if you need it, to tweak your settings. I would also recommend getting the FS-WW1 1.6.0.7 Beta Patch installed (helps with the graphics quality), along with the addon aircraft at www.fsww1.com. _________________ 'Go Fly A Kite!'

Thank you, step by step I recall my knowledge.
But flying is still amazing. I manage to clear the sky just as I never ha a break.
So much fun. And my kids are now old enough for an old school LAN session. Yeah!
These add-on planes you mention are not included in any planepack yet, right? _________________ Everybody has a signature, but me. |

It's funny how the brain works! Hope y'all have some great dogfights!
Yes, there were two aircraft released and a "Pioneers of Flight" pack released after Plane Pack 5 + Patch. All of that is here under Aircraft: http://www.fsww1.com/documentation/downloads.html _________________ 'Go Fly A Kite!'
