The cockpit is about 90 percent done.
She's got all new horizontal & vert stabs and a brand-spankin' new fuse. Wings are next. Smile

This project was only supposed to be just a new cockpit but things kinda got outa hand. Wink

cheers, Recon3

I love the new stuff Recce......especially those amazing looking ammo bins, chutes, and that marvelous NEW control stick with it's handle throttle, and the frame-mounted throttle quadrant too!

WONDERFUL MODELING AND TEXTURING!!!

No need for an oil pulsator though (for rotary engine use only).

Good eye! ...I was hoping no one would see that bit. Embarassed
....It's within the 10percent to be fixed. I think I was trying to find a proper oil pressure guage then stopped looking after a while.

...will post another pic soon.

cheers.

Well, I just spent 3 hours rebuilding the Mercedes DIII. It looks quite different from the pic above. Got some more info on it (thanks Catweasle) and tried to keep poly count down but still maintain the integrity.

Upper/lower wings have been rebuilt but have yet to make it in-game.
I bought a plastic model D.VII to help in this process. I'm in this waaaaay too deep!!! Laugh

cheers, Recon3
