12 buttons on it but two buttons can be configured as a 'shift' keys so you can go up to something like 20+ commands on the stick & the hat can be programmed too Smile
I think Snick uses this stick too and several others around here.

There is also a wireless version & a force-feedback version as well.

I have worn out a couple of joysticks over the years and agree with the major,
Saitek Evo is the best choice. Inexpensive and easy to program. I got a Saitek X-45 lying around, it could have been the the Rolls Royce of joysticks if there wasn´t so much resistance in it. No fun flying when your arm starts aching, and instead of Rolls Royce you have the feeling of driving a heavy car with no power steering.

I love my Cougar! Wink

I'll admit tho, I'm a fan of the Microsoft SideWinder Precision 2 stick for arcade flying... I only wish they still made them!

Why not a CH figher stick?

You can get a CH Fighter stick at a fair price. They are top quality and actually looke like a joystick stick should! Wink

As for the Cougar, LOL yeah it is pricey... And it is not for everyone.

What? Boring looking? (sorry, could not resist, just kidding Wink)

CH still looks kinda pricey @ $90.00 (for the novice stick) and up, got my EVo for $30.00 (he says as he brings the ramen noodles to a boil, mmmm.....supper time Wink)
I hear the CH sticks hold up pretty good tho
