A couple of those web sites are still active (even if not updated for several years). Sadly, some are gone.

Indeed, the Sheeps Pen is still around: http://blacksheep1982.tripod.com/index.htm

As is Wings Over Water: http://www.fsww1.com/Downloads/WOW/

And Scorpion's site: http://pagesperso-orange.fr/scorpion-rouge/pages/accueilpag.html

I also think the old SnickWerks site is going: http://snickwerks.netfirms.com/

Also SDOE Pacific: http://sdoepacific.tripod.com/sdoepacific.htm

FS Gustav's: http://members.tripod.com/dfox_1/fsgustav.html

Spin's Plane Pack site: http://www.angelfire.com/games2/spinsdoe/

The FAP Hangar: http://tonysilveira.tripod.com/index.htm

And one of my favorite, Tailslide's: http://tailslide.firelightsoftware.com/sdoe.asp

I'm going to attempt to update Tailslide's with the latest links, when I get the time...

Hmmm, I miss those too. I don't have Snick's skill at teasing, but I thought I'd have a go Smile

Long time no see sir! I wish people still flew on-line... Tho Hyperlobby still supports SDOE I think!

Reinstalls are easy, follow this set of directions:

http://site.openplanesim.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3848

For FS-WWI, follow this set under Install Option Three:

http://www.fsww1.com/

Cheers!

Hi K-2, long time no see! Count me in, so long as Rends promises not to get target fixation and take me out in a head on collision. Last thing I remember, before walking to the white light, was his maniacal grin behind the gunsight...

Sure thing! It won't be today, I'm driving to San Antonio but I've got a WW2 Base Pack install with the extras ready and waiting. Also, there is a 1.6.0.7 Beta Patch that allows higher widescreen resolutions: http://site.openplanesim.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5317&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0

Yeah no rush at all Smile It may take me a lttle while to get up to spec anyway as I have heaps going on right now with work and family commitments and of course Christmas and new years. For those of you who are keen to relive some good ole times again how about we all get up to online spec as soon as possible and those who are rdy already can link up at HL and get in some practice before Cowhunting season begins in earnest early 2013? Wink Moo! Shocked

hey mate .. okay so if I re-install from the dvd and also patch it with the 2 files for multiplayer i should be good to go for online or has the game evolved much more since the dvd was released and we need a new updated installer? I know the step by step method works but omg..this brings back memories I'd rather forget haha!! I think for now I'm gonna go with the dvd method and patch it with the 2 files that Rends sent to me ages ago and then at least get it running again..that will be some achievement on it's own.. if I install from the dvd with 1606 from memory then i will mm with others using 1607 beta right? I should just be able to install 1607 straight over 1606 without any issues other than the usual c&p of inp and ini files etc? .. omg I've opened pandora's box..what have i done!?
