These ground units were built and textured by Mossie! I converted them into the OpenPlane format, scaled and did the OpenPlaneStudio coding.

What's the last one. Looks like a fortified outhouse. Smile

It is a balloon winch (Raises and lowers the observation balloons). It will be added to the balloon base and balloon ground unit objects. The building houses the petrol and generator to power the spindle. The two sticks sticking out of the spindle are levers.

Cool.

Don't we have balloons that rise and lower? Maybe a turning winch could go with them.

We sure do! Actually, now they start raised and then lower after a long period time, or when you shoot at them. A spinning spindle winch could be done! Happy

I'm now at 14 ground units that Mossie supplied; imported and fully working in-game! I have about 6 more to go (3 different models with one sub model each).

After this, I think I will import the Nieuport 11 cockpit.

Then on to the navy! About 10 total ships will be added.

Happy

Ouch!

The 'damage model' looks truly gruesome. Good work!

Seems to be a texture mapping issue on the spokes of those two wheeled buggies...

How so PV? You mean the fact that they are camo? That is how I got them from Mossie. I think they did paint them with camo for use on the front lines. Or are you seeing something else?

Smile

Ok, I updated the first two posts to reflect up-close shots and damage model shots.

Oh, OK, that day-glo green is intentional then. Maybe should consider desaturating it just a tad, perhaps...
