Very neat! I see what you mean about the unwanted transparency.

Ok, back on track! Some in-game shots of the La Mouche that I'm polishing off for Lewis:

Thanks for the comments gents. Argon has done another stunning job with my old models, thanks again Jason.

Well this model is purely speculative, but the original, built by Gustave Puissenieux was the first nearly successful, human powered aircraft. And it's being made in 1912 makes it a near pioneer and even more unique.

There is a claim that it made some 6 to 10 meter long flight hops while being pedaled.

There is an even more vague reference to it being powered with an IC engine, so I took a small bit of liberty with it.

Wink Any news about getting some Stats.bmp data?

She's a hoot to fly! And can lawn dart easily if not gentle on the controls.

Lewis, I think once I get that info and create the proper Stats.bmp I'm going to release the first 4 kites as a pack (The Caudron N, Santos-Dumont, Farman and this La Mouche). Then I want to polish up the blimp, the Ford car and get the Eastbourne Mono working properly in-game.

That's fine, looking forward to them being public. It's just too bad my Laptop died, as there were some revision files of the Farman III and Eastbourne that I really wanted to have you check out, new working LOD's on the joystick-canard wires with Z and X axis movements. and improved FM for the Eastbourne.

Hey Lewis, how's this coming along? Happy I'm working on polishing up the blimp currently... And adding rads to the Santos-Dumont 14-bis.

Ow! Yeah I've been slackin' a bit.. Confused It's got more than a few small details to work out and the dreaded mapping, and that's before it gets imported to AC3D. I am finding too many distractions with the other sim(s) Smile I've actually got more done on the Grade Monoplane.

I've been messing around with the SDOE BMW R/75 sidecar trying to get it a bit closer to the stock in power and handling so I can use it to make a brass era sidehack. I've lowered the original's main chassis weight of 2800 pounds down to a more reasonable 1100, which is I'm told close to a stock modern sidehack. The damn thing now, when it loads, jumps up into the air as it initializes and then it locks up the game. Darned if I know what's going on. It seems to be linked to the inertia, but, the stock side hack also does this constant rolling/pitching thing with the chassis, and I'm not seeing the DOF function that makes it do this?
