A few days earlier than intended,

The Last Days Of the Reich Legacy PlanePack v1.0 is released! Find it as usual at:

http://www.moddb.com/games/fighter-squadron-screamin-demons-over-europe/downloads/last-days-of-the-reich-legacy-planepack-v10

I had intended to release it this weekend, and as it sometimes takes a few days to get approved, I uploaded it last night. To my surprise, it's already posted and ready for download.

Many thanks, as always, to our resident plane builder/tweaker/fixer, ArgonV. Without his efforts, this would not have been possible. Also thanks to our able tester/promoter Skid. I can get pretty burnt out putting these things together and having him to back me up is invaluable. Finally, thanks to all the original builders, wherever you are!

The planes:

Germany
BV 155V-1
Fl 282 'Kolibri'
Fl 282 (floats fitted)
Fl 282B
Fw 'Super Lorin'
Hs P87 'Schnellbomber'
Ju EF126V-2 'Elli'
Ju EF128
Me 264V-3
Feuerlilie SAM Site
Wasserfall SAM Site

Japan
J8M1 'Shusui'
Ka-1

Great Britain
MB5
Seafang F 31
Vampire F I

United States
P-80B Shooting Star

In addition, the plane names and GUI images for the original LDOR planes have been brought up to 2010 standard.

Great! Do we still need the original LDOR or can it be deleted from ModDB?

No deletion. We still need the original. The changes this makes to the planes in it are merely cosmetic.

Thanks for the suprise!!!!

BTW The Ju EF126V-2 'Elli' V2 is NOT version 2 of the same plane but a twin engined version of the plane. (And deadly as it has the machine cannon that was under development at the time. The muzzel velocity is very high comparted to others which gives it a greater range and very flat trajectory...

Looking forward to seeing what pics Major Hippy posts

For anyone interested in a sense of just how many of us remain in the active SDOE WW2 community, the LDOR Legacy download count is at 45 a little over a week after release.

And as of today,

It's hit the 75 mark, presumably riding the coat tails of the surging BP3.1, which has enjoyed a jump after hitting 50. Smile
