Led by a seriously reworked/cleaned up He 177, the Axis Legacy PlanePack is due for its next release shortly. If you're aware of any major issues with any of these:

Ar 196
Do 17Z vBeta7
FW 190A-5 U13
FW 190A-6 R15
FW 190F-8 R
He 111H-6 vJuly2003)
He 177 Greif vAlpha
He 219 Uhu vBeta4
Ju 87B-2 Stuka vAlpha
Ju 87D-1 Stuka
Ju 88C-6
Me 262U-4
Me 262V-2
Me 262V-83
Me Bf 109F-2 Trop
Me Bf 109G-5 Trop
Me Bf 110C-4
Me Bf 110G-2

Ju 87 Stuka
Mc 202

A6M3 Zero
Ki-61
Ki-100

Please let us know now! Do keep in mind that resources are limited but we'll do the best we can!

Also, if you're sitting on a flyable but unfinished/less polished Axis planes, please consider allowing us to give it a once over and include it in the pack. This is a Legacy release after all. With a community of about only 50 (based on recent downloads), it may be your last chance to get it out to those who will appreciate it. Thanks! Happy

I think the He 219 needs some work as well, much along the lines of the He 177... Shading issues and LOD cleanups. Want to send me the latest SM and I can give her a quick work over before I start the P-39s?

Yes, it is very, very, very alpha! Unfortunately, as such it would probably involve to much time to be practical.

That said, the idea of the Legacy packs was to put out such planes in the hope that someone who really loved them would pick them up and finish them. Anyone with an interest in doing so need only let me know and I'll provide the original files. No need to extract stuff from the PAR file!

In this particular case though, I think Razer has a complete rebuild. Perhaps he'll volunteer it up if the Pacific pack is not going to come to pass?

He does have a Ki-61 that actually looks as such. I don't have a copy of it any more though... Sad

The Ki-61 in the pack is indeed based off of the He 100.

The Ju 87B-2 Stuka vAlpha had a LOD problem which can easily be fixed if you send me just the aircraft's SM file.

I'm almost done with the He 219, just need to do a shadow. I'll get to that tomorrow. Smile

Thanks gents! We are putting in a decent amount of work into these pretty bad off legacy aircraft. Not to mention the new skins, GUI work, renaming of aircraft and Training/Hangar missions.

He 219 sent off to 3dp this afternoon. Nothing amazing done, but all the little things at least make it presentable now.

The He 177 was such a mess when I started. I think now at least it will be a good base to build upon further if someone picks it up. It still needs cockpit work, a shadow and the rear turret to be textured correctly.

I also sent the revised Ju 188 on Sunday. I did a lot to cure bad shading problems and horrible flickering and strange glass in the cockpit.

Ok, not able to control myself I added a shadow and fixed the rear turret textures on the He 177. I also corrected the fuselage body contact points and added tire friction to the wheels. 3dp, SM sent your way!
