A few based on FS-WWI models and textures.

H-Farman 20..

The M-Farman 11 is the 11-Biz-A with the V12 Renault, which was used to great effect by Happe in MF29, and the night bombing Squad of Villanueve in 1916, MF-25.

The Sopwith Tabloid is textured with the FS-WWI Bristol Scout textures that I added a Union Jack to.

Caudron 11 meter trainer,

Morane-Saulnier 'L'

Mate, those are beautiful! I need to get back into the OpenPlane aircraft making buisness... I still have a few aircraft you've sent me I've not yet had a chance to assemble... Sad

You might find the paintjob on this Farman-40 interesting:

Too bad the plane is wrecked, that would have been an interesting livery to see more completely.

Some of the French Farman bombing squads had some quirky and funny squadron emblems. I guess when you know you're flying a plane so disadvantaged that even Aviatiks seem threatening you start decorating your planes however you like.

MF-25 had an interesting mural in their airfields Bar/canteen.

Some more FG images

Flying online with Lego and ClrCoda..

They seem to like the Tabloid.

Flying the HF-22 on the Rhine River. The floats in FG for the YAsim FDM actually hydroplane and bob about, depending on the waves/wind strength.

Sopwith 1&1/2 Strutter.

The Venerable FS-WWI AVRO 504 is now flying proudly in FG.

Helijah's Hangar my conversion from the E-III to the E-I early Eindekker.

Hi Argon,

Well there's the Download center for the main Windows version program, I would venture unless you're wanting to tinker and experiment, I'd go with 3.4.0, it's what is running on my machine and also it's not the bleeding edge nightly Windows builds, which can be either great or a disaster waiting to happen.

http://www.flightgear.org/download/

You have a pretty strong gaming rig so you'll have no problem cranking the effects up. There's a bit of a interface called FGRUN that will need the initial folder pathways picked out for the .exe, aircraft scenery and terrasynch. before you can open the sim, You end up with KSFO, San Francisco and surroundings as your default scenery.

For the Planes, Scenery and terrain texture mods I have made, you can get them all at my mediafire repository. I'll post links. As it's somewhat heavy on the advertizing on the download page, so be warned, if you have AdAware or NoScript you can block most of it. Nothing malicious just spammy ads.

Helijah's Hangar has all of if not most of the WWI FG aircraft besides mine.

http://helijah.free.fr/flightgear/hangaren.htm

Also check out the advanced features in the 3rd page in FGRUN as this is where you can set up the real weather fetching, 3D clouds, Ansiotropic and anti-aliasing. You can also set up the online port for MP play in the 3rd page.

I'm downloading the next Win build of FG and plan on installing it here in a bit. What other scenery and downloads do you recommend I get from Helijah's Hangar?

And the links to your planes? Smile

Well Helijah's hangar is all aircraft right now. Another thing to remember about Helijah, is his planes are sort of generic and unfinished.

I can provide some links to my Mediafire page for some WWI scenery and WWI aircraft.

I presently have Belfort-Chaux, Corcieux and Habshiem as the only detailed WWI airports. Unfortunately nearly all of these airports suffer from terrain textures that make them look a bit too 21st century with the present scenery-textures. I have a fix for that!

It will involve cutting and pasting new files into the Scenery, Terrain and Materials. It could get a little hairy, make back-ups!

Yes please PM me the links to your things when you can. Sorry for the late start in all of this! No worries about the scenery, it took FS-WWI some time to have proper terrain to fly over. Wink

I still have several models I want to get into SDOE from you. Time has been scarce of late. Sad

Once I get the new terrain, as well as those clouds. How did you get those clouds?!
